They have a subtle honey scent and soft natural hue and burn with barely any smoke or drips. The luxury matches are made in the U.K. and the boxes are printed using a traditional letterpress machine. The candle holder is also made in the U.K. by a company who have been working with steel for almost 50 years.

ABOUT THE MAKER

The company who produce our hand-dipped candles have done so for over 30 years, using traditional techniques. Their small workshop is situated in the beautiful Pennines, United Kingdom; an area of outstanding natural beauty.

They source the finest English beeswax from local suppliers, which is renowned for it's honey scent. Their candles burn cleanly with barely any smoke or drips.

Archivist was founded in 1994 and continues to this day as one of the finest letterpress studios. Letterpress printing is a traditional technique of applying ink to an image and then 'stamping' it onto paper or card. The process has changed little since the Gutenberg bible was published circa 1455.

Our metal candle holders are made in Yorkshire, by a company who have been working with steel for almost 50 years.
