Spring is finally here, and we are so ready for warmer weather and lighter evenings. Our garden is coming alive again with green shoots and the daffodils are bobbing away gently in their pots. Spring really is such a hopeful time of year.
In this post, we’re sharing simple spring table styling ideas using natural textures, soft florals and candlelight to help you create a welcoming seasonal table at home.
To celebrate the new season, we've gathered some of our favourite spring table inspiration. Hand-dipped beeswax candles, simple floral arrangements and table linens all help to create a celebratory feel at home.

Outdoor table setting with a white tablecloth, large floral arrangements and beeswax candles.
We love the soft, natural colour palette of this table setting. Hand-dipped beeswax candles from Weald Store are displayed on a selection of candle plates and candlesticks, with varying heights and shapes adding interest and movement to the table. Seasonal floral arrangements help bring the outdoors in and complete the setting.

Here, the simplicity of the white tablecloth and crockery perfectly offset the golden hue of the beeswax candles and the colourful floral arrangement.

Candlelight is at the heart of this table. By using a selection of jars, the candle vessels echo the other glassware. Meanwhile, the simplicity of the green foliage and repetition of the arrangement creates a relaxed, laid-back setting.

Spring table styling ideas
Start with a simple base of table linen and build up layers using natural textures, seasonal foliage and candlelight.
Add candlelight to your table with our British Beeswax Candles or Soy Wax Candles.
Our beeswax candles are hand-dipped in Cumbria, with a subtle honey scent and soft natural hue. They are made in a small workshop that has been producing candles using traditional techniques for over 40 years.
Our scented soy wax candles are hand-poured in Shaftesbury, Dorset by The Botanical Candle Company. Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from soybeans and is known for being clean burning.
Display candles at different heights and in different candle holders to add interest. A mix of heights creates a natural, organic flow across the table. Our ceramic candle holders are the perfect fit for our beeswax candles, and we also stock brass, wooden and steel candle holders.
Choose simple glass jars or vases to reflect the light. Charity shops and thrift stores are a great resource, or you can reuse jam jars and Kilner jars at home.
Forage for foliage. Branches and stems of magnolia, forsythia, viburnum and eucalyptus add colour and texture, while herbs such as rosemary and sage add subtle scent.
