Candle Care Tips from The Botanical Candle Co. | How to Burn Candles Safely and Evenly

Light your candle for 2-4 hours at a time, or until there is a layer of melted wax across the entire surface of the jar.

Trim the wick to 5mm every time you light your candle. A longer wick will result in a larger flame, which will burn through the wax too quickly.

Keep away from draughts to ensure an even burn.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Leave at least 10cm between candles and do not burn on or near anything that can catch fire. Do not relight when the wax level is less than 10mm.

How Long Do Scented Candles Burn? | Burn Times from The Botanical Candle Co.

Our scented candles are available in small and medium sizes and in a variety of scents. Each candle is hand-poured using pure soy wax and a carefully balanced blend of essential oils or premium fragrance oils. Finished with a cotton wick and poured into recyclable amber glass jars.

Burn times: 20 hours (Small) or 30 hours (Medium).

Capacity: 120ml (Small) or 180ml (Medium).
