Weald Store is an independent homewares retailer, proudly based in Epping Forest, Essex, UK.

We partner with British and international makers to bring you a collection of considered homewares and contemporary crafts.

We specialise in thoughtfully curated pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, timeless design, and sustainable materials.

History

Weald Store opened in 2017, but it really began when Charmaine started renovating her first family home.

Once the dust had settled and she searched for furnishings and decor, she became increasingly drawn to interiors and homeware design.

Along the way, she discovered a community of talented makers, artisans and small UK-based brands, inspiring the collection we offer at Weald Store today.

Meet Our Founder, Charmaine

Charmaine founded Weald Store in 2017 after a long career as a fashion buyer and several home renovation projects of her own.

Through her work and personal projects, she developed a deep appreciation for thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship and the stories behind the objects we live with every day.

She also built relationships with talented UK-based makers, many of whom continue to inspire the collection today.

Charmaine lives with her husband and young children in a mid-century home on the edge of Epping Forest.
