Gemma Koomen is an illustrator making art in her studio in beautiful, wild Northumberland. She is inspired by the simple things in life; a love of nature, every-day magic and childhood joys.

She makes paintings in gouache and ink about the things that she loves; real and imaginary wildflowers and plants, small people in big places, thoughtful objects and tiny homes. She is inspired by the natural world around her and seeks to find beauty in the little things.

She strives to source sustainably sourced paper and packaging and works with printers in the U.K. who use environmentally friendly practices.
