Archivist cylinder matches featuring the charming Cat & Mackerel design by Elizabeth Harbour, with a playful illustration of a cat wearing a bow tie in front of a plate of mackerel.

The orange illustrated design wraps around the entire cylinder, creating a characterful scene filled with charm and detail. This decorative match tube brings a touch of illustrated whimsy to any mantel, coffee table or cosy corner.

ABOUT OUR LETTERPRESS MATCHES

Archivist was founded in 1994 and continues to this day as one of the finest letterpress studios. Letterpress printing is a traditional technique of applying ink to an image and then 'stamping' it onto paper or card. The process has changed little since the Gutenberg bible was published circa 1455.
